Most anticipated movie of suriya with vikram kumar cobination released yesterday,many expectations raised by trailer,Successful hit of Directors previous movie MANAM made 24 much more interesting.Lets see...
Story : sivakumar and atreya are twins with different attitudes,siva invents a 24 hour time travel watch...without any reason athreya want that watch and in process he kills his brother and his wife ...sivakumar saves his son by giving to lady in train with project 24,the boy grows up and he is mani looks same like his father,he un intentionally found key and open that wathch.then he use that watch to gain love of satya bhama (samantha) , atreya find mani and kill him to get watch...what happen next is to watch on screen.
Technical details:Excellent camera and sound mixing are high lights ,art direction editing are below average ..but story screenplay is too bad and worst ....scenes between samantha and suriya are torture to audience .2 hour 43 mins film is completely boring due to repeat scenes and how they exceute will make audience down,vikram fails in screenplay he lost his emotional magic in all scenes ,telugu dubbing for suriya also not good .Vfx used in this film are some what good but not up to mark.Thirru s camera is top .A.R.RAHMAN music is worst ...all are international tunes ...excep jo lali, bg score also poor ,stunts are just average.nothing to say about dances.
logically director fails with watch time travel...where singeetam successed with time machine in aditya 369.
PERFORMANCES: SURIYA is great actor but in all three shades he acted with ease and shows variations,but they is no variety in expressions.we can easily found his expressions in his another movies,Nitya menon presence is good and she looks gourgeous,he charachter has less scope and screen time,Samantha is boring with routine facial expression and skin show.Saranya steals show after suriya,girish karnad and comedians are all had less space to show performance.
